What is TOG and why does it matter? TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade and measures how insulating bedding is. It helps you choose the right sleeping bag based on the room temperature, ensuring your baby always sleeps comfortably and safely. The colder the room, the higher the TOG rating should be—and vice versa. This system helps create the ideal sleep environment for your little one. Tip: Never add TOG values together. The air between layers provides extra warmth, which isn't reflected in TOG ratings. Trust your instincts and use common sense alongside these guidelines. Below, we share the 10 most common pregnancy cravings — and of course, we’re super curious: did you have these cravings too? Apples from the fridge?Apples were mentioned a lot among the cravings, and we totally get why. Sweet, juicy, and sometimes tart, apples provide that refreshing taste you often need during pregnancy. Plus, cravings for sour snacks are very common. But not all apples are the same. For many moms, it’s crucial that the apple is from a specific brand and comes straight from the fridge. Sound familiar? Orange (juice)Orange juice to the rescue! Nothing beats a sweet orange or freshly squeezed juice — it boosts your mood and your vitamin C levels. According to scientists, this second part might explain this craving. Your body needs extra vitamin C during pregnancy, which may cause the urge for oranges. All things friedSome people get nauseous just thinking about a plate of fries during pregnancy, while others could eat it every day. Fried snacks definitely belong on this list! Creating Childhood Memories: Our Team's Favorite MomentsWhen you look back on your own childhood, there’s probably a specific moment or memory that stands out—something you reflect on with warmth and joy. Emy (37) – Social Media Marketer and mom of Phlyn (9) and Philou (7)My brother and I are only 1.5 years apart, so we did everything together. One summer in Spain, we had our own little tent next to our parents’ caravan. At night, we’d place pillows just outside the tent so we could lie down and watch the stars while chatting. One night, after our parents had already fallen asleep, we took our pocket money, snuck out of the tent, and went to the bar to buy ourselves some ice cream — and enjoyed every bite. Tara (29) – Brand ManagerMy favorite childhood memories come from the many holidays we spent in Italy. Vacations have always been a big part of our family — and still are! Every year, my parents, my brother, and I would camp at ‘Montescudaio’ together with another family. We had the best adventures: playing table tennis, eating Italian food, exploring towns, mini lip-sync shows, countless attempts at diving (I still can’t dive), and making new friends. Every morning started with baguettes and croissants, followed by building sandcastles on the beach. My dad would build cars, boats, pools, and castles with tunnels for our beach ball to roll through — that was the highlight of the day, next to getting ice cream in the nearby village. We still go back to that campsite, and it’s so special to now create those same memories with my own child. Onderweg met z’n allen lekker knus in een mini tentje overnachten, ik paste precies op een klein opblaassurfplankje helemaal achterin de tent. Op de camping elke ochtend ontbijten met stokbrood en een croissant en daarna zandkastelen bouwen op het strand. M’n vader bouwde auto’s, zwembadjes, boten en kastelen waar het beachbal balletje doorheen kon rollen en dat was het hoogtepunt van de dag. Naast het ijsje dat we ’s avonds haalden in het dorpje naast de camping. Niet voor niets komen wij nog regelmatig terug naar deze camping en hoe leuk is het om dezelfde herinneringen nu te maken met m’n eigen kind? Shyra (22) - grafisch designer Het eerste wat mij te binnen schiet wanneer je mij de vraag stelt "Wat is jouw leukste jeugdherinnering?", dan denk ik aan de avonden in het weekend waarop we eens in de zoveel tijd met mijn ouders, tweelingzus en ik de woonkamer gingen omtoveren tot een magische plek vol met allemaal matrassen, kussens en dekens! Mijn zus en ik mochten dan een film uitzoeken. We keken vervolgens de hele avond film, met een overvloed aan snacks binnen handbereik. We mochten die avonden lekker laat op blijven, wie wil dat nou niet als kind zijnde?! Als kers op de taart mochten we natuurlijk ook in de woonkamer blijven slapen. Dit waren de avonden van lekker gek doen, hutten bouwen en gezellig samen zijn. Kortom, mooie herinneringen!
